These general terms and conditions of sale and services (the “Terms”) apply to all services provided by Studio Interio to private and business clients. They are attached to every quote and can be consulted at any time at interio.fr/terms-en. Version in force on 16 October 2026.
This English version is provided for information. The French version (interio.fr/cgv) is the legally binding one.
Nadine LAGHA EI (sole trader, entrepreneur individuel), trading as Studio Interio Architecture & Design (the “Studio”).
Business address: 21 rue Édith Piaf, 71100 Chalon-sur-Saône, France.
SIRET: 100 807 072 00010, registered in the French national business register (RNE).
VAT: VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French Tax Code (CGI).
Phone: +33 7 44 96 94 73. Email: contact@interio.fr
These Terms apply to all of the Studio’s services: interior architecture and space planning, E-Design packages, consultations, 3D modeling and renders, animations and virtual tours, facade and storefront design, and exterior architectural visualization.
The contract consists of the signed quote, its specific conditions and these Terms. In case of conflict, the specific conditions of the quote prevail.
A “consumer client” is an individual acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. A “business client” acts for the purposes of such an activity. Article 11 applies only to consumer clients and article 12 only to business clients.
Each service is the subject of a free, detailed quote: deliverables, number of revision rounds included, price, lead time and, where applicable, travel costs. Unless stated otherwise, the quote is valid for 30 days.
The order is firm upon receipt of the quote signed “Bon pour accord” (handwritten or electronic signature) and, where applicable, of the deposit, subject to the consumer client’s right of withdrawal (article 11).
“From” prices shown on the website are indicative: only the quote is binding. Any change to the assignment after signature is the subject of an additional quote.
Prices are in euros. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French Tax Code: the total amount of the quote is the price to pay.
For a business client established in another member state of the European Union, the service is deemed to be supplied in the client’s state (article 259-1 of the French Tax Code); any VAT due there is paid by the client under the reverse-charge mechanism (article 196 of Directive 2006/112/EC).
Bank and currency fees for payments from outside the SEPA area are borne by the client.
Unless the quote states otherwise:
Payment is made by bank transfer, to the details shown on the quote and the invoice. Sums paid when ordering are deposits (acomptes).
In case of late payment, the Studio may, after a formal notice that remains unanswered for 8 days, suspend the service until full payment. The password giving access to the final files and the right of use (article 9) are only transferred after payment in full.
The client provides accurate and complete information: plans, dimensions, photos, technical constraints, building rules, wishes and budget. The Studio is not liable for errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information.
When the quote includes a site visit, the Studio carries out the on-site survey (measurements and photos) needed for the design; travel costs are stated in the quote. The client gives access to the premises and points out anything that cannot be seen (utilities, structure, building rules). Before anything is manufactured or ordered to measure, dimensions must be checked on site by the contractors carrying out the works.
The project moves forward in stages approved by the client. Each package or quote states the number of revision rounds included; a revision round groups all change requests sent at one time. Additional revisions and major changes (new brief, new plans, new rooms) are the subject of an additional quote.
For some projects, when the quote provides for it, the Studio publishes a project tracking page on interio.fr, included in the service: steps, dates, photos of the existing site, 3D views and renders, updated at each step. This page is public; it shows the type of project, the city and the year, without the client’s name or exact address, under the conditions of article 10.
The lead time is stated in the quote, in working days or weeks. It runs from receipt of the signed quote, the deposit and the information needed for the project, and it is suspended while the Studio waits for the client’s feedback, approvals or documents.
Deliverables (boards, plans, renders, videos) are sent electronically in a password-protected ZIP archive, together, where possible, with low-resolution previews or screenshots showing the work done. Sending the archive counts as delivery within the lead time stated in the quote. The password is sent as soon as the balance is received.
Previews are only for checking the work: they may not be used or published before payment in full. The client has 15 days to report in writing any non-conformity with the quote, from when the previews are sent or, if there are no previews, from receipt of the password, and 15 days after receiving the password to report an unreadable or incomplete file; otherwise, the deliverables are deemed accepted, without prejudice to the legal guarantees enjoyed by consumer clients.
The Studio carries out an aesthetic design and visualization assignment, without project management: it does not manage or supervise works, does not carry out technical studies (structure, utilities, thermal, acoustic) and does not perform the tasks reserved for architects registered with the French Order of Architects, in particular architectural projects requiring a building permit.
Proposals (layout, colors, materials, furniture) are recommendations. Technical checks, measurements, compliance with standards and regulations (planning, co-ownership, safety) and the works themselves are the responsibility of the contractors chosen by the client and of the project owner. 3D renders are representations: actual colors and materials may differ. Products in shopping lists are sold by third parties, whose prices and availability may change.
The Studio keeps the copyright in its creations: boards, plans, renders, animations and 3D models.
After payment in full, the client receives a non-exclusive right to use the deliverables for the project named in the quote: carrying out the project, personal use and, for a business client, communication about and marketing of that project (brochures, website, social media, hoardings, listings), on all media, worldwide and for the full term of copyright. Any other use (another project, resale, transfer to a third party) requires the Studio’s written consent. Visuals may not be altered, apart from cropping or adding a text or logo.
Unless the quote or the offer description states otherwise, working and source files (for example .max, .dwg, .rvt, .skp, .3ds) are not delivered: only final PDF documents and high-definition images are handed over.
When publishing the visuals, the client credits “3D visualization: Studio Interio, www.interio.fr” or, for a design assignment, “Design: Studio Interio, www.interio.fr”.
The Studio may, free of charge, without time limit and worldwide, reproduce and share the project’s visuals, plans and images, including before/after photos and photos of the site before works, on all media, printed and digital: portfolio, website, social media, brochures, cards, presentations, trade fairs, competitions and press. It presents them with the type of project, the city and the year, without the client’s name or exact address, unless the collaboration has been announced or the client agrees, in which case the client’s name may be mentioned. Faces, names, number plates, access codes and anything else that could identify a person are hidden.
If the project is confidential or not yet on the market, a business client may ask in writing for publication to wait for its own announcement, for no longer than 3 months after delivery; meanwhile, the Studio may show blurred visuals marked “in progress”. If the client cancels the assignment or abandons the project, this delay ends and the Studio may publish the visuals, still without the client’s name or exact address. A consumer client may object in writing at any time to the publication of photos of their home.
Right of withdrawal. When the contract is concluded at a distance (email, video call, electronic signature) or off-premises (for example during a meeting at the client’s home), the consumer client has 14 days from signing the quote to withdraw, without giving reasons or paying penalties (articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).
To withdraw, the client sends the Studio, before the deadline, the form below or any other unambiguous statement, by email to contact@interio.fr or by post. The Studio refunds all sums received no later than 14 days after being informed of the withdrawal, using the same means of payment.
Work starting during the withdrawal period. The service only starts before the end of the withdrawal period at the client’s express written request (on the quote or by email). If the client then withdraws, they pay an amount proportionate to the work done until the withdrawal (article L221-25). The right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised once the service has been fully performed before the end of the period, with the client’s prior express consent and acknowledgement that they lose this right (article L221-28, 1°), for example an Express Consultation held within the 14 days at the client’s request.
Contract signed at home. For an off-premises contract, no payment may be requested before 7 days have passed since its conclusion (article L221-10).
Lead time. If the service is not performed within the lead time stated in the quote, the consumer client may, after giving the Studio formal notice to perform within a reasonable additional period, terminate the contract under articles L216-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
Legal guarantees. Consumer clients benefit from the guarantees provided by law, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (articles L224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) for deliverables supplied in digital form.
Telephone marketing. Consumer clients in France can register free of charge on the Bloctel telephone opt-out list (www.bloctel.gouv.fr).
Disputes. In case of a dispute, the client first sends a written complaint to the Studio. They may bring proceedings, at their choice, before the court of the place where they lived when the contract was concluded or when the damage occurred, or any other court with jurisdiction under the law (article R631-3 of the French Consumer Code). French law applies, without depriving a consumer client living in another European Union country of the protection of the mandatory rules of that country.
Payment. Unless the quote states otherwise, invoices are payable on receipt. No discount is granted for early payment. Any late payment automatically incurs, without reminder, penalties at the European Central Bank refinancing rate plus 10 percentage points, and a fixed recovery fee of €40 (articles L441-10 and D441-5 of the French Commercial Code); where the costs incurred are higher, additional compensation may be claimed on proof.
Cancellation. If the client cancels after signing the quote, the deposit is kept by the Studio as compensation, and any phase already started is due in full.
No response. If the client stops responding to the Studio’s requests for more than 30 days, the Studio may, after a formal notice that remains unanswered for 15 days, terminate the contract and invoice the work done and the current phase.
Liability. The Studio has an obligation of means. Except in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, its liability is limited to the amount paid for the service concerned and does not cover indirect damage (loss of business, loss of opportunity, delays or extra costs of works).
Jurisdiction. For any dispute with a business client, and to the extent permitted by law, the courts of Chalon-sur-Saône, France, have exclusive jurisdiction.
Neither party is liable for a delay or failure caused by force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code; lead times are then extended by the duration of the event.
If physical incapacity, serious illness, hospitalization or the death of Nadine LAGHA makes it impossible to continue the assignment, the Studio or its successors inform the client as soon as possible. The contract is then terminated automatically, without compensation on either side: work already done remains due and sums paid for work not done are refunded.
The client’s data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy.
These Terms are governed by French law, subject to article 11 for consumer clients. They are written in French; in case of translation, the French version prevails.
